Questions to be answered from Nachtur

Questions to be resolved:

Do we learn anything more about the Moradin connection (who is the priest, are there any links to the church more broadly)?

Do we hear what happens to the other Geyr Hextor leaders, especially the All father guy that Kallista told us about?

How do things go with the parliamentary vote?

Do we end up needing, or getting regardless, the 'backup' that Irek set up, and is there anything that needs to be resolved with House Himrall?

Do we remember to give Meva Kri's sword back? ;p

There are obviously a lot of other 'what happens at the end of a war' type questions (what do we do with defeated cultists? How do we handle mass migrations to the city once parts of it are relatively safe to inhabit? (How badly) does this fuck up Highmark's NPC-labour-reliant economy, etc) to think about too, but I think those are issues that a: may be lingering when we pick it up and b: while interesting are not really essential to my sense of closure

How did the Crimson Mist do in the battle, and did they all come through safely? Relatedly, I suppose, what will happen with Roth's House and their ambitions?

Do we get medals? titles? new media tie-in books? a giant victory parade back in Highmark? ^-^ More seriously, what is the general public reaction to all of this?

What happens with Tasane?

Non-specifically-Nachtur questions:

Can we adopt the kids ASAP on getting back, or should we wait for getting/furnishing the house first? (Aleyn would vote for sooner rather than later, even if it makes things more chaotic for a while, but I suppose Vedran and Ardith may have other ideas.)

Where's our house when we get it, and how long before Aleyn can move in too? I guess in the meanwhile he can stay at Vedran's old apartment?

What happens when Beryl gets married? (How) do she and Alia work that out?

What will happen to the tiefling children with Halatir gone? Will one of his other students step in to fill the void? I assume Delona will be too busy in Nachtur to take over the dojo any time soon.

Related to Julie's question, how is the Highmark media spinning the whole thing?

What sort of memorials or remembrances will there be for those who died in the conflict?

How soon before we begin cleaning out the demons and reclaiming the city? What sort of provisional government is going to be set up, and how will we be involved with it?

Corollary to Tuck's question, is Halatir's body recovered for a funeral? Does the funeral turn into a quasi-political thing, do other sword masters come to pay their respects and/or steal his students, does anyone from his pre-war life come, etc?

Also, given that Delona is willing to drop out of the Nachtur situation entirely if she has to, what happens with the dojo as a whole?

Now that the Thunderbolts (presumably) have a little fame on a more national level, do either of Delona's birth parents come out of the woodwork? And that IS the deal with that Sentinel spell that was placed on her?

How many of the details of the conspiracy become public knowledge and how does this contribute to the shakeup of society?

What's the general reaction *outside* of Highmark, for that matter?

A: Agy fought priest of Moradin - not dragonmarked, or doesn't have one she recognizes - his glows white. disintegrated one

of their soldiers - not a sentinel mark :p (House Himrall?) - haven't seen him again, or found his body.

Geyr Hexor Leaders/All Father - We don't have anyone who claims to be him - do capture some officers/priests

What happens to cultists? Until parliamentary vote, they go to the Sentinel houses, After the vote - Geyr Hextor gets

turned over to Nachtur provisional government

Vote - is close, recognizes Nachtur as a Nerathi settlement, provisionally independent. Allows Nachtur to set up a

provisional government - council of ppl selected by Goblinods, ppl appointed by Nerathi gov't.

Following votes regulate interaction with Nerath - emigration quotas, etc. (Lots of NPCs at first)

Also Brenn does get elected, wooh!

Nachtur Council - Hewalna, Erylia, Hruggek, Also Vedran, Ardith and some other peeps

Irek's backup - they still come in to help with cleanup, under the command of Nachtur council's general Selgrumel (yaaay!)

Meva Kri's sword - Sammi takes it back on his way home, but he'll be coming back to Nerath

Labour issues - possibly will reopen soul forges on a provisional basis.

Crimson Mist - no deaths, they were in the southwest force - hard fight, but they made it through, wooh! Roth and the

Standages were in the Northeastern force.

Public reaction/media - mostly kept quiet until the vote. Everyone in Undertow knows, and we don't pay for anything there

for the next month. Public opinion is split - Highmark - evenly divided (many apathetic other than the labour thing -

economic eunrest - anticipating a labor shortage that doesn't care), Yondon doesn't care
Thantopolis is excited. Vanilorra, Aethrenar and Grimfar are not happy. negative speeches, NPC crackdown. V&A see it as a

threat, G is worried about the northern goblinoids to their north. Other cities don't really care.

What we get - not much until we get a governtment. And we all can have lands and titles. its a goblinoid honorific.

Kallista moves in with Brenn because she can't handle living alone.

Tasane is still held by House Machel. She never did anything illegal in Nerath -_- We're guantanamoing her for now -_-

She'll eventually be released :/

Kids - As soon as we are ready to take care of them. Aleyn is willing to step up - so go! Orphinarium paperwork is easy.

House is in Silvercorners - bigger than we'd planned on (16 bedrooms). Ardith's boss pulls some strings - in the back of

SC, built into the cliff - has exits into the undercity. Used to belong to a Patrician House. erm. Yes there is an

alchemy lab, locked and outside.

Beryl and Alia - B&Torven's wedding is the next summer. They have a working honeymoon, and sail down the river to Odanet

holdings and pick up Alia and Torven's lover. They get to Highmark, Beryl comes to Nachtur, Torven goes to Highmark. They

mostly just do their own thing. Families think "they have time", and they both have important jobs. Alia can open a

tavern/casino/brothel in Nachtur ;p The profit and services provided are secondary to her entertainment ;p

Media coverage - see above re political stuff, Its all over the place. Some ppl say it is the end of Nerath, some ppl say

we are Heroes, and everything in between.

Memorials and remembrances - not decided yet, since the conflict continues. Songs and stuff. Nachtur day - cookies and

burned bread and stuff ;p

We start cleaning out the demons immediately with the forces we have on hand + Irek's reinforcments. Agy is in charge until

the vote, then Sel takes over, and appoints Agy as her second (politics need Sel in charge, but they really work together)

Vote takes place right after the new elections but before the new people are sworn in (can vote their consciences).

Halatir's body and funeral - Del can go recover it. Funeral is somewhat political - Ruler of Vanilorra asks that his

remains be returned there because he is a War Hero from the Ahkasic Wars. He leaves everything to Del - she decides to...

cremate him and share the ashes. There other swordmasters - get offers from Elven sword masters to get tested to become

one of them. Possibly they may be influenced by Jesseryn. Obviously she goes, but when is the question.

Neither of Del's parents come forward.

Re: the Sentinel Spell - OOC: Irek put it on her when we met in Mythragal when Del helped him up off the earthmote. He is

surprised it is still going.

Details of the conspiracy don't become public unless we say something. We decide not to say anything.

Del is going to be the figure head of the dojo at least - needs to decide how to balance family + dojo + Nachtur stuff.

Tiefling kids want to move to Nachtur and help with the clean up, and ask to stay at the Dojo until they can go. They are

welcome to do both!

The Standages - they'll get land grants and titles in Nachtur. They get more prestige, but becoming a great house hinges

on whether Nacthur becomes a real city.

Jesseryn is on sort of the same time frame. Beryl's work is under the auspices House Callais.

Roscoe want to try and get into his father's tower. He'll want to be involved in Nachtur, but

Kallista is going to consider herself a priestess of Avandra and try and open a temple/shrine in Nachtur. (Avandran

priests mostly wander around and spread enlightenment. Possibly also VD.)

Aleyn moves in at the end of the season.

Jacinthe doens't need to remarry, so she doesn't - powerful enough as my ex. She has time to change her mind.

Cael and Kier move to Nachtur in the next few years (although Kier is kinda stuck with us, more or less)

Derenn manages to stay single. He can be like an ambassador - a go between for Highmark and Nachtur.

Dheni - ??? plans unknown

Sorrow - goes back to Mythragal?

Dead Rats go back to doing their thing. More game in town in Highmark with Hruggek emmigrating.

Doomstones - basically depowered, but will get incorporated into Nachtur as monuments

Weather in Nacthur - warmer than highmark - midwestern-ish. Temperate. on a major river - like St. Louis? mild witers, humid summers.

Monti and Ben - continue being awesome, just richer. Expand their house and invest in business. She misses us, and the money we brought in

Del and Thru have a boy in the downtime

Vedran and Ardith also have a boy, and Ardith is likely pregnant with Aleyn and Vedran's child

New questions - how long will Warryn stick around before he goes?
