Drabble written for Julie to make up for missing the stabby part of last session

Misery’s smile was contagious. Dorien held her close and twirled her gently around the floor, his head and heart dizzy with the feel of her skin, the scent of her body.
Suddenly she faltered. His smile froze in place as she looked down. She seemed puzzled, her eyebrow arched more in curiosity than alarm.
“Dorien, what…” she managed, and then fell forward against him. He gasped and felt the sudden weight of her limp body in his arms. A black stain, hot and sticky was spreading across the side of her red dress.
“I… Misery? No… no no no… NO!"
