Hey Connie - Made it to my middle of nowhere motel in Colorado - as promised the Truck has not fallen apart yet, which is good, or my cousin might kill me, as she is supposed to be getting it from me, and apparently I am getting a less-that-ten-year-old 'new' truck, wooh!

Anyway - I got this from Ambrose, I am sending it on to you. I will probably do some poking into stuff anyway, since I don't have much else to do tonight, but if you need me to look in to anything in particular, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I should be getting in around 6 or 8 tomorrow, but I will probably have some time in the later evening if you need stuff, then Saturday is the wedding and related bits.

    Simon,

I just heard about something that I thought I should pass on. I can't say a whole lot, but I can at least give you a heads up so you and the rest can try and keep out of the way.

Apparently Indigo, who is a new York DJ we have been watching for a while, is coming to your town. He is kind of bad news, and in more than just the general 'club scene degeneracy' that you see in the tabloids... although also that. I'm sure he has ruined and messed up a lot of lives in more subtle ways, as well. Like I said, I can't give you much but this will give you the basic gist of things, I'm sure.

I don't know exactly what the deal is, but it is enough for him to be on what I think of as The List. That said, it really would be better for you and the rest not to be associated with him while he is there.

    ------
[attached are some links to news stories taken from the web that build the basic picture of info I gave you yesterday, but I'll stick it here too for completion]

James Marino - ex-bf of Indigo, originally from NY - they broke up after a fairly public fight (That, according to various questionable sources, ranged from things like lifestyle, fidelity, career, money, management and personality conflicts) around the time that he was starting to get famous, and fell off the general public radar. Incomplete, disassociated remains that were eventually identified as his were pulled from the Hudson about 8 months ago, in an extremely deteriorated state, investigation is ongoing, ish, but there isn't much to go on, and he doesn't really have any family to push for more investigation. He was 23 at the time of the fight.

Courtney Parks (20) - She was one of the close groupie clique at the time she was shot by her boyfriend in their apartment as part of a domestic dispute. Her tox screen was all over the place, with most of the regular club scene stuff.

Adam Wellington (22) - Courtney's boyfriend. His body was pulled out of the Hudson about 8 weeks after he shot Courtney and disappeared. He was severely battered, and died from his injuries.

As-yet unidentified male arm belonging to someone around 10-22 years old, also pulled out of the Hudson - forensics wasn't able to get much information other than that he'd had a club stamp from the club where Indigo typically works. The arm did not appear to have any cut marks on it, but there was significant bruising.

List of MIA persons confirmed to have been last seen st an Indigo event:
-Lucas Higgs(20 months ago - groupie)
-Richard Morgan (16 months ago - groupie)
-Jason Firth(7 months ago - groupie)
-Andrew Stiles (3 weeks ago - groupie)
-Rachel Gwydaine (one year ago - inner circle groupie)
-Latoya Brown (7 months ago - groupie)

There is also a partial list of other missing persons who were involved in the 'scene,' some of whom were fans if not outright groupies, but whose disappearances can't be as closely linked to the DJ and his performances. Most of the list is also men.
