Scouting mission to the Land of the Grove Born

The small party of soldiers set up camp on a hill to the north-east of Zeiinuvăd's territory. The mages among them began to set up their surveying equipment and ritual circles to locate the powerful source of magical energy they had sensed. In the meantime the rest of the party began organizing a watch perimeter, keeping an eye out from their vantage point for any signs of locals or threats.

Curious, definitely curious. It has been so long since we have seen humans approach our borders. But we must be cautious. Most of the humans here wear metal and we remember the most aggressive of their race wear metal for protection in a fight. And the ones wearing robes are doing strange things with strange objects. They must be looking for something; they don't have the awareness that Grove Born have and must rely on forces and objects outside of themselves to find out anything.
We'll wait and watch for now. They present no threat to Elder Sister and the Grove Born.

Uninterrupted, the Thatopolitans finish their magical survey and head a few kilometers north, once again setting up their instruments and taking measures, as though they are trying to find something through triangulation.

We continue our vigil, they peak our attention and warrant continue our observation to ensure this tranquility.
